1/4/2026 受洗加入圣约大家庭 Baptized into the Covenant Family
1月4日在2026年第一次主日崇拜中，方舟圣约教会为两个家庭举行施洗礼。这个圣约大家庭的会众们一同见证神救恩的作为，也共同承担起这两个家庭属灵陪伴与代祷的责任。
On January 4, during the first Sunday worship service of 2026, Ark Covenant Church held a baptism service for two families. The congregation of this covenant community gathered to witness the work of God’s saving grace and to jointly take on the responsibility of spiritual accompaniment and intercessory prayer for these families.
在这次洗礼中，成人受洗的彭弟兄在众人面前清楚的宣告信仰，承认自己是罪人，表达愿意悔改归主跟随耶稣基督并委身教会的心志，随后教会的牧师和长老为他施行点水礼。彭弟兄一家去年移民来美国定居Fairfax，慕道一年有余，在陈牧师家中和方舟教会完成慕道班系列课程认识耶稣基督的救恩，目前夫妻二人均已受洗。洗礼不仅标志着彭弟兄在信仰成长道路上的重要里程碑，更见证神在这个移民家庭中真实而持续的呼召与更新。
During the service, Brother Peng, who received adult baptism, clearly professed his faith before the congregation. He confessed that he is a sinner, expressed his willingness to repent, return to the Lord, follow Jesus Christ, and commit himself to the church. Following his profession of faith, the church’s pastor and elders administered baptism to him by sprinkling. Brother Peng’s family immigrated to the United States last year and settled in Fairfax. After more than a year of seeking the faith, they completed a series of catechism classes at Pastor Chen’s home and through Ark Covenant Church, coming to know the salvation of Jesus Christ. At present, both husband and wife have been baptized. This baptism not only marks an important milestone in Brother Peng’s journey of spiritual growth, but also bears witness to God’s real and ongoing calling and renewal within this immigrant family.
两位圣约家庭的儿童也在父母的陪同下接受了点水礼。父母在会众面前郑重承诺，将在家庭中以祷告、真理与榜样养育儿女，引导他们认识神、敬畏神。全教会也一同回应，承诺以爱心、教导与团契陪伴孩子在信仰中成长，直到他们清楚认信并回应神的恩典。结合今天的证道关联诗篇127的经文，成人借着受洗归入基督成为有形教会的一员，同样借着儿童的受洗孩子们进入恩典之约，是耶和华所赐的产业。
The children of the two covenant families also received baptism by sprinkling in the presence of their parents. Before the congregation, the parents solemnly promised to raise their children in the home through prayer, truth, and godly example, guiding them to know God and to fear Him. The entire church likewise responded by committing to accompany the children with love, teaching, and fellowship, nurturing them in the faith until they can clearly profess and personally respond to God’s grace. In connection with the sermon based on Psalm 127, it was emphasized that just as adults are united with Christ through baptism and become members of the visible church, so too through the baptism of children they enter into the covenant of grace, as children are a heritage from the Lord.
敬拜结束后的团契聚会众弟兄姊妹为这两个家庭举行庆祝，切蛋糕、赠送礼物、聚餐和祝福。这次洗礼不仅是这两个圣约家庭的重要时刻，也是整个教会共同欢庆的日子。“因为这应许是给你们和你们的儿女，并一切在远方的人，就是主 我们神所召来的”（使徒行传2:39）。
Following the worship service, the congregation gathered for fellowship to celebrate with the two families—cutting cake, giving gifts, sharing a meal, and offering blessings. This baptism was not only a significant moment for these two covenant families, but also a joyful occasion for the entire church to celebrate together. As Scripture says: “For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself” (Acts 2:39).
